Today’s
motorbikes can be divided in several categories, dependant on the
manufacturer they fall in or in between one of the following groups.You can
divide motorcycles in 4 main groups:High
speed racing motorcycles, type also used for professional racing on
8-tracks.These
are used on flat roads, highway quality roads. Any bumpy road is to be
avoided with this motorbike.
Motorcross and/or off-road, not on streets or in the city, this is for
the rough activity and/or outdoor mud motorcross.
Touring, is for the long international travels. Also known as luxury
touring motorcycles, because of their onboard audio equipment and easy
riding position.
Cruising, is for the medium length tours and for the semi-long travels.
These motorcycles represent the image of a “real biker”: the in leather
dressed biker sitting back with his feet forward.
